Change of Plans

Have you experienced changing plans on the last minute because you feel that your first plan is not going to work? Well, that's what happened to my sorellina and I's Christmas date. Our plan is to have our lunch in an artsy cafe located in Lemery Batangas. I already did some research of the cafe days before our date- the location, the menu and anything that I have to take note for our lunch date. Everything was planned already until we were caught by a heavy traffic on our way there. It was really annoying. We have to change our plan during the last minute and change ways just to escape from the traffic. We don't know where else to go and the least thing that we can do is go to Lipa. For the second time during that day, we were again caught by a heavy traffic while on our way there. We were already starving because we were travelling for 4 hours already with no food inside the car. (Lesson: Stock foods, healthy foods to avoid hunger while caught in traffic!!) We continued driving until we reached Nuvali. When we saw Sbarro's pizzas on display after we stepped out the car, we knew where to satisfy our crying stomachs. We ended up ordering a plate of pasta, 3 garlic breads and a slice of plate size pizza for each of us. After we got our stomachs filled, we strolled around Ayala mall in our high heels (Haha!), hopped from one shop to another and still bought more foods. (Yes, we ate more than what you think!) Before we went home we happened to passed by the other side of Nuvali Park. I guess our change of plan during the last minute brought us to a more beautiful place. I never knew some modernized buildings, hotels and beautiful spots were already established there. There were only few people around so we were able to take advantage of the whole place and managed to take some shots for the blog. I want to give credits to my very supportive and on the go little sister who volunteered to be my professional photographer the whole day. That day was truly one for the books, especially the exchange of gifts (if you just saw how speechless I was when I opened her gift for me!) and driving and walking in heels the whole day (my favorite. Haha!). During the night, we even managed to attend a party at a hotel with some drinks and foods and a beautiful view. I wouldn't be able to enjoy it if it wasn't because of her. Thank you Terry!
