One of my favorite brand, Shein, just released on their website the 6 must have pieces in everyone's wardrobes! Summer is fast approaching and while most of us doesn't have that full on summer vacation when the sun is at its peak, let us start arranging and booking our beach trips and activities for this year! :) While there are so many places to go and many activities to try, there's this beautiful beach and diving resort named Kamantigue that rests in the beautiful Sitio Malao, Pagkilatan, Batangas. I don't know if you have been there but I'm pretty sure that you have came across this resort already somewhere in social media. Kamantigue Beach and Diving resort is a 3 hours drive away from Manila but I'm sure that the pretty long car drive is worth the wait. The resort offers a beautiful view of the Verde Island and offers different amenities and activities for guests to enjoy.

ROOMS

Accommodation would never be a problem because the resort is huge enough to house 3 buildings (Main building, Seaside and Villas) with air-conditioned and non-air conditioned rooms plus breakfast if you availed the overnight package. They also have open cottages for day tours and function halls for venues.

I'm sure this is everyone's favorite part- the beach side and swimming pools!!! The resort has 3 swimming pools for the guests to enjoy- 1 villa pool and 2 seaside pools (1 adult and 1 kiddie pool).

For more or less than 500 pesos you can enjoy already a one whole day stay at the resort with your barkada and take all your instagram and blog worthy pictures! It's time to bring those bikinis and sunglasses out because, yes, the beach is already calling you! :)

Behind this strong personality is a lady who has experienced a lot through life. It wasn't easy to be in my foot as a daughter, as a sister and as a student. All of those are a series of struggles as I feel like I have so much responsibilities especially as a daughter to my mom. I've been raised with a mindset that everything that is happening in my life has it's own reason behind it and whether it may be good or bad I should still be thankful for it. My life is not colorful as you think it is. Everything that I have came from pure hard work. My life has been through its lowest and I've been working really hard to bring it to its highest. I can say that as I age I realized how life has been really playful and amazing. It has turned me into a mature and different person and I wouldn't reach this point in my life if I wasn't that strong enough to overcome everything that life has thrown me. I wanted to share with you the ways on how I overcome it and the life lessons I learned from it. :)

Believe in yourself. The first person who can help you get through every problem is no one but you. Believing in myself and having a mindset that "I can get through this" and "I can ace this" gave me so much experiences to remember and be thankful for. There are times when I doubt myself and call myself weak. Everyone has been probably in that situation as well but the challenge is to TRY. You never know what good might happen! :) Maybe it could be the start of something amazing that might turn out to be one of the biggest step in your success in life. :)

Surround yourself with supportive people. I've always believed that my family and friends have been my life's greatest blessings. Their motivation drives me to do the things that I once thought I cannot do and inspires me to push myself until I reach my goals. My mom is my number one supporter and motivation. She plays the most important part in my victories. Without her, I probably wouldn't be where I am now.

Find the good in every situation you are in. Even if this is one of the hardest and most challenging, yes, be positive. I realized that healing from those struggles and problems happens first when you learned to accept whatever your life has thrown you and have that mindset that whatever it is, "you can" and "you will" overcome it. It's all in the mindset after all. :)

Don't make harsh decisions. Think of all the possible things that might happen. Just because you feel like the world is against you and you're living a life of problems doesn't mean you're going to quit your job or you're going to break up with your boyfriend, or you're going to run away from home. I'm honestly guilty with this one because I'm easily carried away by different situations. But the good thing is that I have my mom and my friends who are always there to remind me to do the right thing and choose what will make me really happy.

Pray. When life is rough, pray. When life is great, pray. Never forget our God who has seen and helped us all throughout our struggles and victories. Remember: When your day starts with a prayer and ends with a prayer everything in between always seems to workout. :)

Outfit. I've always loved wearing something that will accentuate my best feature and that is, of course, my height. I consider long skirt/s as a staple piece in my closet and I wouldn't mind collecting it in different styles and colors. Just like this skirt, I first bought it in metallic old rose. I loved the texture, the fabric and the fact that it is flowy!!! Talk about princess feels :) It's also a plus that I feel comfortable when walking in it. I thought of getting it in another color which is in green and now thinking of getting another color of it which is in metallic silver in my next order. :)
