Hello Ladies & Gentlemen! This blog is attributed to 5 basic summer essentials every man & woman should have in their skincare cabinet.

The natural products listed below are going to be super helpful in protecting you against the wrath of hot summers whether you are a man or a woman as these products are unisex that can used by everyone irrespective of the gender.

•  Broad spectrum sunscreen: Summers mean hot weather conditions at peak where sun is constantly dazzling over your head. In this case, the only thing that can protect you from the most harmful ultraviolet rays is a broad spectrum sunscreen. Go for a natural sunscreen with an apt SPF (sun protection factor) that guarantees protection against UVA & UVB rays efficiently.

Vanilla Dust: Hot weather may result in increased perspiration. More sweat, more irritation. To soak sweat & bombard on yourself a cheerful & refreshing experience you need a body powder that soaks up sweat quickly & deals with bad body odor at the same time. Deyga’s talc free Vanilla dust is absolutely skin friendly & apt for usage in sensitive areas of your body.

•  Rose Water: A splash of hydration is all you need in dehydrating summers. Skin tends to dry much often in hot weather conditions, so drink more water to retain hydration internally & spritz rosewater on your face to keep it fresh & glowing externally throughout the day.

Multi-flower Glow Face Mask: No matter how hard you dry, you are bound to get tanned in summers. Deyga’s multi-flower ready to use glow face mask would de-tan your skin naturally in just a few minutes for it contains the powerful floral essence of wide variety of different flowers.

Charcoal Bath Bar: A strong detoxifier for your entire body is a big must-have in summers & what’s better than charcoal bath bar! Charcoal is a natural cleanser that cleans your skin from within so much so that it can even strip off layers of dead cells after a few constant uses. Make your bathing experience more exotic with this potent bath bar.

These natural & organic products are all available on the official website of Deyga Organics. You can avail special offers on your first purchase. Stay fresh & have more chilling time this summer!

Crazy how this blog has reached a lot of audience and readers already, how long it is still standing and how many collaborations I've partnered with since I started. I still have so many dreams for this blog and one is to work as a full time blogger/writer. I love to experience working with big brands and just accept collaborations everyday. As much I wanted to, I'd love to publish posts everyday and express more of myself through writing. How I wish I can split myself into 3 and do blogging, baking, and my work as a full time dentist (soon) at the same time. I know that wouldn't be possible though but as much as I can I try to balance everything so nothing will be left out. As I was saying, I'm happy this blog has made me share my full experiences with products sent to me for reviews. I've always poured my heart in every post published and always gives my unbiased opinion. From clothes, jewelries, cosmetics, foods, travel and now skincare! I have not ever thought of doing one before but here it is!
Today's product that I want to talk about is one of my skin's holy grail. I'm not being exaggerated about this but this is the reality. Ever since I was young I already have a sensitive skin. My mom brings me to the dermatologist at the age of 5 because I always develop allergies every time something is applied on my skin. As I grow older I've been more curious about some products that I watched from vlogs and decided to try some that concerns my skin- products for dry skin, whitening, uv protection, hydrating- everything! I've tried a few which are "hypoallergenic" but they only emphasized a few of my concerns and not as a whole. I know it's hard to find a product where I can get my needs satisfied all in one. But you know what I'm so happy that finally after years of searching and trying I finally found my holy grail- Skinclass.

Skinclass has two powerful products that I both love. First is the Milky White Body Scrub. I haven't been educated with that much information about scrubs before and that's the reason why I seldom use it. I have used once before but I wasn't consistent with it because maybe I didn't get to see any result that's changing on my skin. I tried to use one again when I received this milky white body scrub and I must say that it's now part of my routine. I have consumed 2 containers and the reason behind is first- my little bumps (bacne) have slowly regressed and second, I feel like I'm literally applying a milk on my body! I love the fragrance. I smell like a baby!!! This milky white scrub has a powerful exfoliating effect that restores my skin's natural glow back in motion. I use it 3-4x a week and leave it for 5 minutes on my body skin before I wash it. :)
Another product from Skinclass collection is my favorite, Milky white cream. I don't use lotion before. I had a few bad experiences with lotion. First is when I had an allergy because of the strong smell of the lotion I applied on my body and second is when I felt so oily and sticky with the heavy body cream that I applied. From then on, I had a little trauma on applying any cream on my body which left my skin really dry. I was a bit hesitant to try this product before because I don't use any cream anymore but when a friend recommended me to try it, I just can't say no! I applied it first on a little part of my arm. The first thing that I noticed is the smell! It's honeydew and it's so fragrant! I'm waiting for the allergic reaction to happen or series of runny nose episode but thank God I didn't experienced anything. I started applying it in my whole body and got that fresh and moisturized feels. I'm so happy too that it doesn't felt sticky at all!!!
Other than those I have mentioned, I love the fact that it has UVA/UVB protection and perfect for persons who are always on the go like me! It's also applicable for all skin types, 100% vegan and cruelty free!
I will forever be thankful for being introduced to these products. They're not only good but also affordable products that you can try! For less than Php 500 you can already have both! For orders and inquiries you can message me or you can directly message their fb page- Skinclass Batangas City. I hope these products can help you in your body skin problems too. If you're reading this and or currently using it too, leave your thoughts, comments and experiences about this product on the comment section below. :)
See you in my next posts!

xoxo,

Hello everyone! Today's post is something different because this is my first time to share with all of you my skincare products! I'm no beauty guru and I don't have a perfect skin (in fact, my face is almost always red and my cheeks has a lot of pimple marks and blemishes huhu) that's why I'm looking for the best kind of products that will work perfectly on my skin. I have a combination type of skin (Oily on the cheeks and dry on the nose) and I'm quite having a hard time looking for products that will work best on me. When I was in Korea I was overwhelmed with the amount of beauty boutiques in every corner of every street I see. I'm not exaggerating though. Koreans are very concerned with their skin particularly their faces and everytime I see them I get a little bit insecure of the marks on my face. I've been using some products and I have my own skin care routine too but I believe that I need to level up those and change everything since I don't see any changes from using it. I became concerned with my face and did some research when I was in Korea. I was able to score some Korean products like the Some By Mi 30-Day Miracle toner which I've been using for 2 months already. I don't use any toner before but after I've been so interested and watched a lot of vlogs in youtube, I realized how important a toner is in one's everyday routine. I can testify to that because the toner that I'm using works best on me. I'm definitely going to repurchase it (even if it's quite expensive).
After I went back to Korea and brought home a toner and a lot of face masks (they were so cheap in Korea!!!) I realized that I want to try more of the K-beauty products that I've been only seeing from the internet. My curiosity led me to Althea Korea. This is not a promotional post but I want to share with you my experience in shopping in Althea. I actually shopped from 2 online shops, Althea and BeautyMNL. From BeautyMNL, I bought the famous Laneige lip sleeping mask only because it's cheaper there and they have small packaged samples for less while I bought most of my new set of skincare products from Althea. When I bought before from Althea, they offer 15% discount for the first time buyers and I took advantage of that. I also took advantage the free shipping for Php 999+ above hence the title. Hahaha! Let me tell you my recent purchases from Althea.
Here's how the packaging looks. By the way, my package arrived in good condition but I quite got bored waiting because it took 3 weeks before it was delivered. Tagal :( Tip: If you're planning to purchase from them be sure to do it 1 month before your current products were gone. Althea is based in Korea and it took quite some time to deliver. I mean it took longer in the processing hub in the Philippines.
#1. The Faceshop Jeju Aloe Ice (Php 240) - I've been a user of Aloe Vera gel from The Faceshop for almost a year and I apply it after I wash my face with facial cleanser. I noticed that this aloe vera gel doesn't do anything to my face and sometimes still cause breakouts and redness. Maybe it just doesn't work for my skin type. I use it instead for sunburns and for hair growth and I'm glad I changed its purpose instead of as moisturiser. Instead of buying the same Aloe Vera gel I switched to Jeju Aloe Ice. I've read and watched a lot of good reviews about it especially when it's put on the fridge before use. I haven't tried it yet but maybe next week I'm gonna give it a try and update this post once again. :)
#2. Jeju Volcanic Pore Cleansing Foam (Php 340) Before I use this facial cleanser from innisfree I've been using the Rice Water Bright facial cleanser from The Faceshop. I can atest on how smooth and fresh looking my face looks like after every application I do with it. But because I want an upgrade and I realized already what's my main concern about my face I switched on to this Jeju Volcanic Pore cleanser foam from Innisfree. This product has actually the most number of good reviews and one of the best seller from Althea. I'm captivated by its product description and realized that it's what I was really looking for for the longest time. Ho and Behold, it lived up my expectations! This is so far the best and most effective product that I purchased from Althea. It tighten my face after every wash and makes my face softer. I also noticed that my blemishes and scars lightened and lastly, I don't experience severe breakouts just like what I had experienced during the past months. I highly recommend this product and would repurchase it.
#3. The Faceshop eyebrow pencil (Php 150)- This is actually a repurchase already. This is my go to "pang kilay" and I've been using it since January this year. I love the ease of application and it's also a plus that this product is very cheap. I have it in shade dark brown btw.
#4. THE SAEM tip concealer (Php 200)- This is another favorite purchase from Althea. Before I have this I'm using the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in shade sand. I'm using it for the reason that it's the only concealer that I know and have tried in the market. It's actually my first concealer to try and I've been using it for a year already. Because I told myself that I wanted to step up and try other products for my face I decided to order this The Saem tip concealer. When I tried it I thought it was just like my concealer before but noooo, it's totally different. I noticed that it has a better coverage and it lightens pimple marks. Another thing is that I also noticed that this concealer has smooth finish and it doesn't look "cakey" unlike my previous one. This product is highly recommended and I'm going to purchase it again. :)
#5. Natural Pure Cotton Pads (Php 140)- This is a new discovery for me. (I know a lot of you use this already! Hahaha sobrang late bloomer lang!) I learned it from two of my friends while we were in Korea. I was asking my room mate to give me some cotton balls one night but she gave me cotton pads. She told me it's better to use it since most makeup gurus in youtube use it. I started to look for one in Althea and went for the most reviewed cotton pads. These cotton pads are definitely better than using cotton balls! They hold the liquids that I apply on my face way better thus making no products wasted. I'll surely repurchase this soon.
#6. Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Lotion (Php 80)- I actually haven't tried this item yet because I don't know when it is applied in my skincare routine. Honestly speaking, I only get to buy this one because I still have 80 pesos left to make my purchase Php 1000. Hahaha! Anyway, I'd definitely try this product and update this blog for my honest review. :)

You can track your parcel here after shopping! There you have it! I can't wait for my next purchases from Althea Korea! :)

xoxo,

It's already September and it's already my birth month! I'm turning 22 in just a few days!!!  I've seen myself buying a couple of cosmetics recently (I think I'm purchasing every week since last August!!!) and it feels a bit weird because I'm not really into splurging my money to these small expensive unnecessary things. I don't know if this is because I've been eaten up by all the youtube videos that I've watched or maybe because there's a need for me to look more presentable and professional because I am a blogger who meets and encounters a lot of people through my blog. Either of the two it's my birth month anyway and I want to treat and give myself even the least and littlest thing that would make me stress free and happy. Sharing with you some of the makeup haul that I have and my monthly favorites here on the blog! :)
First among the list is the most recent package that was sent to me by Esqido. Esqido is popular for their mink eyelashes (They do have lots of it!!! I made a review of it before) but they have released a newest addition to their site and it's no other than these Esqido eye gel liners!
Esqido sent me 2 gel liners to try. They have it in colors brown and black. I actually haven't tried on what the hype is all about (saw reviews from instagram!) but will be posting my own review next to this post after I try it. A lot of review says that it's creamy smooth and I can't wait to use it as an under liner and smudge it for a soft and natural look. These gel liners are on sale for $12 each instead of $16 on their site. I don't know on how long will their promo be but if I were you I'm going to take advantage of the sale! Haha! $4 is a good discount already if you convert it in Philippine peso. By the way, Esqido is a UK brand and a trusted brand for me. I'm a user of their products and they produce good quality items. Wait for my review! :)
Next are these Super Stay Matte Liquid Lipsticks. I bought these because I've been overwhelmed by all the reviews that I have been seeing all over social media especially my friends! They said it's true to its campaign that it can stay 16 hours on lips even if you drink or eat. I was encouraged by all the hype to try and ended up buying these 2 shades for myself.
I bought 2 shades- Seductress and Amazonian. I bought first the Seductress because I think it's the most wearable among all the shades because it looks natural and nude. Little did I know that I looked pale and sick after I tried it. Haha! Anyway, I still love the color but it's not the "wearable" shade for me. The second purchase is my favorite! Amazonian is a little bit edgy and bold but it's what I like about it. It's not really dark pala and it reached my "wearable" standard. It highlights and brings color to my face every time I use it. These Super stay products really stands for "Super Stay" because even if I remove it I still cannot completely remove it without having stains left on my lips. (I'm using Vaseline petroleum jelly to remove it!)
Luna Organics Autumn Clay Blush. I've seen this all over facebook and I've seen my friends selling and reselling this product. I was curious to try this product because I've seen in the reviews that I can achieve natural looking rosy cheeks by just blending it well. I purposely bought it as a blush but I didn't liked on how it turned out as clay blush. I have applied so much on my cheeks already and yet after I blend it, it easily washes off and it doesn't stay long. However, I like it as a lipstick. It's creamy and smells really good like a bubble gum. I use it on a daily basis in school and I recommend it more of as a lipstick. I just don't know what's the real brand of this clay blush or if it's MD approved so you should consider the risks too in buying this one.
Last but not the least is this Vice Cosmetics in Ekzaj shade. Vice Ganda launched his own self titled cosmetic brand this year and everyone is hyping about it. Again, this curious girl in me really wanted to try for myself and decided to buy one of her matte lipstick in the shade Ekzaj! Nakakatuwa ang shades ng Vice cosmetics. Very witty! Haha! Ekzaj shade is a little dark in color- maybe a mixture of red and brown. (I told you I like dark colored lipsticks!) It's creamy and it also smells good but it doesn't really stay long on lips. I love to have it in other colors as well plus I want to try their lip tints too! I recommend this product because it is budget and student friendly! It's the cheapest among all of the products posted here in my blog (Php 195).
There you go! Those are some of my favorite cosmetics from my makeup haul. I'm still eyeing some makeup and very random products and if you're asking me what what birthday presents would I want for my birthday here are some of it (Char! HAHA!)
Large LED Vanity Mirror- Php 799 instead of Php 1,300 in BeautyMNL (It's still on SALE!!!)
Infallible Setting Spray- Php 600 in BeautyMNL
True Match Lumi Cushion in Nude Beige- Php 900 in BeautyMNL
BLK cheek and lip tint in orange and cherry shades- Php 249 each
Sunnies face fluff matte in hot sauce shade- Php 349
or anything GIRAFFE or FLAMINGO! :)

xoxo,

Today's blog post is something different on my site. It's something I've always looked forward to and something I'm always excited about. Finally, I've posted my first blog entry on makeup!!! I'm not really a newbie when it comes to makeups because I have my friends and cousins who introduced it to me. I started watching and subscribing to makeup tutorials and been wanting to try doing mine but I always find it complicated when I'm doing it already. (**I can do the simple ones like "everyday no makeup" makeup look. HAHAHA) When Esqido Mink Lashes contacted me for a collaboration I immediately thought of calling one of my college bff, Claire, and asked if she can do makeup on me and collaborate with me on my first ever makeup entry on the blog. Half of this post was done by her (being the makeup artist, photographer and studio artist) and I can't thank her enough for being so supportive in all my kakikayan. Haha!
There are actually a wide selection and a lot of beautiful lashes from Esqido. They have the Unisyn Lashes and the Mink Lashes. I got my pair from mink lashes and chose their best seller, BFF. The lashes looks all natural and has this lustrous effect when worn. It can be used multiple times and it's perfect for medium to long lashes (mine!!!)  It also comes with a really cute packaging with a message from the seller. Aside from that I also ordered a glue gold to complete the kit.
Best seller BFF eyelashes- $29 or Php 1,450 // Eyelash glue- $10 or Php 500
Here's the end result of Claire's makeup skills. I love the smokey eyes, the lashes, the highlight and most especially, the contour! Thanks Claire for my look! :)

Let's stay connected on instagram: @shairangelique
