Day dreamer and Believer

Here I am digging in some photos I wasn't able to upload here while reminiscing the wedding day of one of my closest and eldest cousin. It was a memorable one because she's my first cousin in our mother side to get married. Imagine how giddy and excited everyone was! I was very happy to be part of the entourage and be chosen as her maid of honor. We were all so excited back then- I was with her during the preparation period and I also headed her surprise bridal shower. It was fun and fulfilling to arrange such a huge celebration and I'm happy she made me part of it. She has now her son who's my grandson and he's the cutest little man that we have now!

The best part of the preparation where the whole entourage is excited about was the gown fitting! Who doesn't want this? The bridesmaid dresses were designed as infinity dresses so we would be able to style it in different ways the way we want it to be. It was in skyblue too and I didn't expected that this color will convey a lively, youthful and fun vibes! Speaking of bridesmaid dresses, I've came across a collection of beautiful bridesmaid dresses from Alfabridal. Every time I browse their website I would always imagine myself in those dresses and think who's going to be the next in line bride among my friends and cousins! Hahaha! Pastel and nude are the colors I secretly love because it gives a high end vibe with a high degree of elegance. These dresses may not show off too much skin nor have prints or anything on it but its structure and color stood up for its beauty.

I really wish to be a bridesmaid again soon! (Hopefully my guy cousins are reading this!! Hahaha!) Hey heyyy! It's already November!!! It has been 8 long months already since this pandemic outbreak in our country happened yet we're still in quarantine period! Where did that 8 months went? A lot of things could have happened and plans succeeded. But thinking deeper of how the past 8 months has brought me I realized that God has a better plan for me while I'm waiting for my dentist dream to come true. He gave me the knowledge and strength to start something that I would forever be thankful for and that is no other Shai Bakes and my blog, missdream-girl.

One thing I'm excited with the -ber months is first, Holidays is fast approaching!!! I love seeing lively shows and hearing Christmas carols everywhere. Second, I'm in love with this season because of the weather. Even though we don't experience fall nor winter in our country, it's still gets colder during these months. Third, I'm excited for the festivities that are coming! There's nothing more exciting than being part of festivities especially the ones with your family and friends!

Speaking of family festivities, one of my aunt is getting married this coming December and I can't wait to see her in her beautiful wedding dress and be part of her wedding! I know she's been preparing for it for so long already because she's suppose to tie the knot last summer but because of the lockdown she and her husband has to move it this coming December. Nonetheless, I'm so excited for her and I really look forward to see her wedding set up including her bridesmaids in their lovely dresses.

Knowing that I'm a fashion blogger and a little expert with styling, my aunt did asked me a few recommendations on what style could I suggest for her entourage, what shops do I know which offer affordable yet beautiful designs and the like. I'm sure I was able to be a big help when I told her about Alfabridal. I've been talking about Alfabridal for several times already on my blog and every time I am asked what do I recommend, I always remember them.

I'm a big fan of cold shoulder tops and dresses and one thing that I'd recommend for a bridesmaid's dress is this style. I just love the flattering and sexy cut without showing too much skin. It comes in different colors- from pastel to dark so you'll have a lot to choose from.

As you've seen in my previous posts I've been feeling giddy and hyped with the idea of a onesie party! Who wouldn't want to attend in one, right?? I've asked my cousins if we could do a themed party like this for our Christmas family reunion and I'm glad that they're go for it! Apart from all the cuteness that this party is known for, I also want to share with you some of my thoughts why I really want to push it!

First, I want to see everyone's happy and smiling faces with the outfits that they have. Who wouldn't dare smile in these very colorful and cute outfits! I bet everyone will love it and take lots of pictures in it.

Second, I want it to be something unique and different from the previous parties that we had. During the previous years, it has been a tradition to have a family reunion before New Year's Eve. We don't actually stick to any family dress code and a themed party just excites me! It's something I want everyone to prepare for!

Third, onesies are one of the most comfortable thing to wear! With it being made in fine flannel and super fleece I know it's going to be a hit for the kiddos who'll be running and playing all throughout the party!

Fourth, it's affordable! I didn't even thought of it too! I thought onesies are expensive but I was wrong. I visited Alfagoody and got hooked up with the amount of really nice yet affordable onesies! A lot of items are actually on SALE now from their site. Holiday SALEs are showing up from time to time and I think it's the perfect season to go on shopping while products are still marked down.

I got a few pieces to show in our family group chat so they can have an idea of what they would wear for our family reunion. I'm excited for this!!!

Way back college, when department parties were still a thing, my friends and I would always attend every year's party so we could dress up, wear the most fashionable clothes in theme and enjoy the whole night of fun and music. We would arrive in the nicest make-up and high heels and would take lots of pictures and memories to look back too. The Dent parties that I attended to for the past 6 years have been all about sparkles and glitters and I realized that there's something lacking. We weren't able to be granted our most requested theme, the pajama/onesie party!

We've always wanted be in the most comfortable outfits and experience enjoying the whole night like a one big sleep over party in school. I don't know why but it was in our circle's bucket list! I know it wouldn't happen already in our university because we are already graduates but we'll make it happen for sure if we'll be given the chance to have a girls' night soon!

Speaking of onesies, I've came across Alfagoody- an online store that sells animal themed one piece pajamas for children and adults. I've browsed some of their products and got super giddy with the designs that they have. It gave me a wishful thinking to attend a themed onesie party even in this time of pandemic (kahit sa bahay lang!!!) or host a friends' sleepover reunion wherein everyone's wearing the cutest onesies that they have! How cute is that right?!! Ahhh, that would be so exciting!!!
