1. Prayer Works. I've prayed for a lot of things this 2016 and I'm really happy that almost all of it were answered. I know some of it wouldn't come as it is without my hard works too. I always feel that I'm beyond blessed with everything that I have now- with the family and friends that I have, the foods that we share, the good health that each of the family member has and the extra blessings that I've secretly prayed for. I can say that 2016 has definitely been my year and while I still have 2 days remaining before this year ends, I want to spend it by sharing the blessings that I have to the people who need it.
2. You have to accept the fact that most people's part in your life is just temporary. A lot of people come and go this 2016. I've gained lots and lost some too but I'm forever grateful to all those who stayed. I met some temporary people this year who left big marks in my life. They helped me grow into a more mature woman and I'll never regret having them in my life because they taught me so many things that no any other person can teach me. I just hope that when we cross paths again, they'll remember the friendship that we used to have back then.
3. Life is full of surprises. Sometimes life just has its way of turning things the other way around, making impossible things possible. I've been in unexpected situations and had a lot of unexpected experiences this year (to the point that some of it still feels surreal until now. Haha!). It put me in situations where I have to choose between letting the opportunity pass and not care at all or spice things up and take risks. I chose not to be afraid anymore and just go with the flow as long as I'm enjoying it. I thank my friends around me who guided and supported me all throughout. I seriously learned a lot from those experiences.
4. It's okay to focus on yourself sometimes. I cared for other people too much. I mean, I'm that kind of person who doesn't easily depend on anyone because I know that I can do things on my own and in my own terms. I grew up being independent. I know how it feels like to be alone that's why I always want to be there for someone else. I give even if there's nothing left for me. I even save money to buy things for other people. I don't know why I've never changed for the past 20 years (haha) but now, I'm learning to spoil myself with the things that I want. I'm learning to focus on myself and just be myself. I'm learning to enjoy this so called life and live the way I want it to be.
5. Speak your heart out. Tell what you want to say and express what you feel. My friends taught me to stop being afraid of all those bubbly what ifs in my head and just speak my heart out because regrets can last a life time. Stay true to yourself and speak with confidence. To you who are reading this right now, this might be the sign you're waiting for. I don't want you to miss the most important chapter in your life. Confess whatever the hell it is! Spill it before 2016 ends. There's no better timing than now.

xoxo,

Merry Christmas everyone!!! I can't believe time went really fast. It's that time of the year again to give the gifts we bought and wrapped at the last minute, look for our god parents (Hi to my beautiful Ninongs and Ninangs!), eat our hearts out without having excuses of getting fat, attend family and batch reunions and travel with the family. I mean, it's Christmas and it's given that everyone should enjoy the holidays, right? Above all those things, let's not forget the reason why we're celebrating Christmas and greet him through our simple prayers.
For this year's Christmas season, I was asked a couple of times to make a list of the things that I want. I had a hard time thinking because I really don't have something in mind. I mean, I'm not obsessing for anything at the moment. Clothes? I still have some clothes that I haven't wear from sponsors. Gadgets? My laptop, camera and iPad are still in good condition plus I just got a new phone. Wait, let me think for a while. What about a rose gold New Balance and Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit?!! OMG! I finally figured it out! Hahaha! Anyway, my actual Christmas wish list cannot be found and bought from malls because they're too precious to be displayed on those racks and store windows.
My top 5 wishes this Christmas are Good Health, especially for my mom, grand parents and everyone in the family; Knowledge, that I may be able to pass the whole semester and our upcoming oral defense this coming February; Skills, that I may perform well in the clinic and bring back my patients' beautiful smiles; Confidence, that I'll be able to trust myself and believe that I can do things as long as I'll work hard for it; and Love, that someone finds my wandering heart and fills it with the love and happiness that I truly deserve.
When you see it! Photo bombing level 10001. Hahaha! Anyway, this is the outfit that I wore during our pre-Christmas family dinner. It was the first day of my red days so I'm not really feeling well and I want to dress comfortably. Of course, I don't want my outfit to be sacrificed just because I felt lazy that day. Good thing, my palazzo pants from Rosegal saved the day! I love palazzo pants especially that it makes any outfit look effortlessly classy and polished. This pair fits perfectly on me (I got a size Large) plus it gives an illusion of longer legs. What do you think of my outfit? :)

Merry Christmas from my family to yours! Happy Holidays everyone! :)

I’m the kind of person who doesn’t easily splurge on things that I don’t really need or that is just “in” as of the moment. That being said, I’m one of those budgeting bloggers who loves investing on great quality pieces that I can use all over again without having worries of it being fragile or easily worn out.

Farbod Barsum is one of those luxury brands that I keep my eyes on as of the moment. I recently discovered it online and saw their collection of different luxurious bags. Farbod Barsum is a company founded in 2010 which represents the ultimate in couture exotic skin handbags and exotic skin accessories. They are committed to quality, luxury and refinement and it is clearly seen in the designs and skins that are used in producing their bags.
Here are two of my favorite handbags from their collection- Cognac Alligator and Black Ostrich leg and Leopard print handbags.
Another favorite from the collection is the Gunmetal Ostrich wallet. Aside from it, I also have my eyes on alligator skin wallet as well as lizard skin wallet. Santa, I hope you're reading this. Haha!
With every designer products coming and popping out, let us always consider the great quality each pieces offers. Let us also keep in mind that the best piece will always last a life time. For now, my eyes are  glued on those Farbod Barsum products, especially their luxurious handbags.

xoxo,

Hey guys, we’re finally down to our third week in December and I can really feel the spirit of Christmas. I know we’re all excited about it, (I am!!!) and we’re already thinking of our last minute Christmas gifts for our friends and family. To help with you with your gift dilemmas this coming Christmas here are some of my suggested gifts  every girl will surely love. :)
Who doesn’t love makeups? I know most girls these days have, at least, invested on basic makeup pieces or are now in the middle of collecting a lot of makeups. Since I started receiving and buying makeups I had thoughts of investing in makeup organizers. I went organizer hunting but no malls here sell acrylic transparent organizers. I thought of searching for it online and luckily, there's a lot to choose from. If you're thinking of a present for your friends this coming Christmas, a makeup organizer is a unique and ideal one. I got mine from Zaful and it's really spacious and classy!
One beauty rule that I learned from the beauty experts that I follow is that never leave the house without applying sunblock. This is one rule that I preach too because it doesn't only bring glow to your skin but also protects your skin from the unwanted uv rays. Just recentlly, I discovered a makeup brand named Eden's Paradise, which sells  a lot of organic skin care products. I got two items from them. The first one is the Tomato sunblock. The 15g sunblock comes in a cute packaging plus an SPF 45 to protect the skin from sun damage. The sunblock actually smells really good like the smell of a candy! Haha. Aside from that, one thing that I like about it is that it gives a pink finish for some added rosy cheeks effect. The second item that I got was a lip tint. It looks like just an ordinary one until you see it change its color! It's actually a changing color lip tint. At first it'll look light then after a few minutes it'll become a little pinkish and natural to your lips. I'm using it in school and I get compliments. :) You can visit @edens_paradise and @edensparadise_batangascity instagram pages for more skin care products! i'm sure you'll never leave the page without shopping one for you and your friends!
What about makeup brushes? I’m not really particular in having a dozen of makeup brushes because one or two is enough. Well, that was before when I still haven’t discovered those angled blush brush and the like. I got this set of makeup brushes from Rosegal. I like that it's handy and travel size friendly so you can bring it anywhere you go. It comes with a pouch too!
Lastly, you can never go wrong with bags! For me it’s the safest thing to give as a present. I mean, you don’t need to worry about the size or the style. I got this canvas tote bag from Zaful and what I like about it is that it’s spacious enough to carry all the blogger essentials like the umbrella, tablet, camera, makeup kit, you name it!!! My mom asked me if I can give it to her as my Christmas gift. She’s using it now and she really likes it. :)
