What outfit could be best worn on a Summer themed debut? Floral outfit. I wore this outfit last Sunday during my cousin's debut. I love it how this dress made a statement not only because of its unique prints but also because of the color combinations. The dress, though above the knee, appeared to be somewhat conservative because of its neckline.
Finding a piece like this from a Super Sale made me feel so lucky. It screamed "BUY ME" when I first saw it! This was one of my best buy aside from these pair of pale lavender flats and a pair of pants which I'm saving for a special event. I didn't have second thoughts in buying it.
"You make me feel like I'm living a teenage dream" Feeling like a barbie :)
Dress from Betty, Flats from Parisian Plus, Pearl Necklace from Forever21, Bow clip from Shenzhen, and Swarovski bag from lola.
Thanks to my hair stylist, Mimi, for the waterfall braid.

Next to this post is my cousin's 18th Birthday! I'm really excited to share with you everything that happened. :)

In case you're a reader of my blog you'll know that I published a hanging post during my Shenzhen tour last April. I told there that I want to make it extra special and post it during the remaining last weeks of summer. And as promised here it is! :)

Last April during our Shenzhen tour we visited a tourist spot named "Window of the World". It is an amusement park which showcases the different tourist spots all over the globe. This spot was undeniably one of my favorite! Because it was too big (bigger than Disneyland, i think?) we weren't able to go to the other side because we were given a limited time only. The bus might leave us! Anyway, every place and time was worth it. I love it how Window of the World made me feel as if I was able to go to the countries I wished I was right now!

An outfit photo first before anything else :)

Before I went to Hong Kong and Shenzhen I checked first what the weather would be like for those couple of days. I just found out that lowest temperature that it can reach during the day of Spring is approximately 20 degrees Celsius while 15 degrees Celsius during the night. I told myself that one of the most essential piece that I need to bring during our trip are tights! I have no tights in my closet since I don't buy one. Anyway I wouldn't be able to use those herein the Philippines. Those are only suitable for cold temperatures which will make one feel warmer and comfortable. Before we leave for Hong Kong Ate Mons, my cousin, sent me this black tights as her graduation gift. Lucky me!

Look at the scarf! I used it right after I bought it. It is just irresistable! ;) Like what I've said before this scarf is magical! It can be transformed into many styles that I want. It is not just a plain scarf because it can be turned into a dress, sweater, or anything that I want as long as the scarf can handle it. Of course I don't want to pressure it.

So let's start the tour. Let me be you tourist guide for today's blog :)
So where do you think I am? I'm still at the entrance. Lol. I just love the columns which made me feel like I was in Greece or in any ancient time.
Everyone's favorite and my favorite! The Eiffel Tower. Who says I won't make it to the Eiffel? Hahaha. Kidding! I was really amazed when I saw this standing so tall at the middle of the park. I felt like I was really in Paris. Of course I need to take so many shots so that I can freely choose what I like. The Eiffel has elevators to take us to the peak but we didn't managed to fall in line since we only have a limited time to roam around the place.

Roman Holiday Plaza

Arc de triomphe Paris. This spot is one of my favorite. In fact I took some of my outfit shots there. I love its vintage yet classy look. Very unique.
Don't you just love the view? It was really refreshing there. SPRING! :)
Cologne Cathedral, Germany.
Miniature version of the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy :)
Wew. I missed this. How I wish I could be back there again. So colorful.
Windmill Country
Country of the World Flowers, Netherlands.
I was the only brave one in our group who had my picture taken standing here. I was almost got caught by the guard. Hahaha. Living young and free! :P
A place somewhere in Paris.
London's telephone booth. Thisss! I still have a good eyesight because I spotted this! One of London's trade mark. I wasn't able to have a picture with the London Bridge and Big Ben because the places were crowded. We don't have enough time to fall in line.
Sydney Opera House, Australia
Vatican
Look at mom! She's like an astronaut floating!
Sphinx and Urquiza Pyramids, Egypt. Is there a thing called Spring in Egypt? :)
Guess who I'm with. I don't know either. Hahaha.
Abu Burrough Temple
Japanese Garden
Monorails all around Shenzhen
Louvre Museum like. Window of the World experience was really worth it!
And for the last stop before I proceeded to the bus, I took a pose outside America Wind Street showcasing San Francisco's town houses!

These were just 5% of all the photos I've taken during our tour in Window of the World. When will my next trip take me? Let's just find out. ;)

Last Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday were days of fun, adventures, independence and learnings.

May 14

During the afternoon I met my doctor for my monthly check-up.  After that Mimi and I went straight to SM Manila to wait for my other cousin, Ica, there. What we did to kill the time? The two of us went from store to store and fitted some clothes and shoes. My top favorite stores are Charles and Keith, JellyBean and HipCulture. In fact I bought something from one of these stores and I'm really excited to use it! :)

While roaming around I saw this chocolate cafe named Choco Mocco and suddenly craved for chocolates and ice creams! Omygod! We just need to eat here. Before leaving the mall Mimi and I had our merienda at Choco Mocco. It can only be seen in SM Manila. Satisfied with the service and servings. :)

Right after we met Ate Rica we headed to the condo to leave our backpacks full of sleep over essentials. During the evening we went to SM Mall of Asia. So that was our first time to go there together without any old companion. One proof that we're already independent enough.

MOA undeniably got every store a lady loves. The most awesome thing that I saw in the mall were the different Audrey Hepburn sunnies from People are People, Aldo, Forever21 and Tomato. Omygosh! Those sunnies were irresistable but I just have to accept the fact that those are not for me. I tried some but aren't perfect for my face shape. But still, I guess if I'll buy one I'd buy the sunnies in People are People.

While looking for a place where we can dine we spotted this place because of it's eye catching exterior design. We got curious and went in. It was a fine dining restaurant! Holy Cow was the place. I love the interior too and the uniforms of the Cowboysss! Hahaha. We had our dinner there and all I could say is that I'll definitely go back to that place! ;)

With my sisters Ate Rica and Ate Aimee :)
New York Cheese cake, Fillet Mignon steak, and Tender of the bone bab back ribs

May 15

I felt so lazy and uncomfortable the whole day. I had a head ache and my eyes were irritated. Mimi and I planned to go the mall but everything was cancelled since I was sick. What I did the whole day was that I watched "How do I look"! :) I love it how a person's life can change and become colorful through the help of fashion.

First picture: Floating and dreaming ang peg! :))) Morning view.
Second picture: City lights! Evening view.
Third picture: Mimi and I's breakfast. I never thought I would cook a meal on my own! It was my first time. It feels great to eat the foods that I did cook for myself.
Fourth picture: Pan fried Cream Dory. Dinner at Cafe Alfonso

May 16

I felt fine that day. Time to go back home 'cause the day after is the fiesta at my mom's place. Mimi and I commuted alone. Hihihi. We felt experts already. Lol.
Golden Sun Milk teas for Mimi, Ica and Shaira :)
Your future Civil Engineer. Lol. Joke. Of course not! Thanks to my Ninang for giving me this t-shirt :) I love it! My ootd for the last day :) Haha.
My buddy! Result of boredom and vanity.

I love being with my cousins whom I can call my true sisters. They're different from the others. I love doing the things I really like with them. They're simply incomparable and irresistible. Looking forward to our next bonding after Mimi's graduation but this time with my 2 big sisters already. (literally big and tall :))) BU5 here we come, hopefully! :)

The most awaited day has come. The 18th Birthday of my cousin, Ate Rica, took place last May 12 at La Corazon Resort at Dumuclay Batangas. It started at around 6 pm already and ended at 10 in the evening.

Invitations...
While the venue was being set-up...
Birthday cake from the caterer itself
The blessing of the foods. Bustillo family with the my brother, the escort.
A close up picture with my youngest and cutest cousin, Nathan.
18 Roses. I'm glad I've met Ica's High School friends from Dubai and College friends from MAPUA.
18 Candles and Wishes
I'm included in the 18 presents! :) The MC made a twist. Instead of giving Ica a birthday wish I sang a one line song of "Oppa Gangnam Style" instead. I'm feeling sexy here. Hihihi
18 Presents
My gift for Ica. Animal print hat. The first time I saw this hat I instantly fell inlove with it. I thought of buying it for myslf but instead I bought it as a gift for my cousin. I'm really planning to give her something feather-yyy because she obviously like those. She even borrows almost all my feather accessories. Hahaha. I thought of giving her a hat because next to feathers I remember her through wearing hats. Whenever we're in the mall and she saw a hat she wore it with confidence all over the place but doesn't have any plan of buying it. Hahaha. And so I gave her one. I think she liked my gift. I love you Ica! :)
Sisterets. Childhood frenemies. Fashion lovers. I love you to infinity and beyond.
With Ericka :)
Better late than never, I want to greet a Happy Mother's Day to my mom, lola and titas! :) Happy Mother's Day too to all the mothers out there!

I'm really happy Ica's debut was a success. After all our hardworks in arranging this debut (from the pictorial which I served as her proud stylist, the all around venue and caterer hunting, arrangement of the 18 thingyy programs, rush invitations and the souvenirs) for less than 3 weeks it went fun, crazy, and a memorable one for the debutante herself, the family, and friends.

Attending and of course arranging a debut like this made me want more to have my own debut in the future( next year). Arranging the whole debut is the busiest part yet the  the most fulfilling one. It's the time where everyone becomes excited.

PS. I'm so sorry if I am 4 days absent in blogging. I missed it! :) Anyway, I have lots of stories to tell you though! Keep in touch! Thanks for reading!
