There's this fashion trend that I'm currently obsessing with and it's no other than the monochrome and neutral dressing. If you know me that well, you know that I'm a big fan of pastel colors and loud prints. But, for this season, I've decided to join the bandwagon, take the plunge and style neutrals starting today till my next outfit posts. Let's see on how long can I take the styling challenge of monochrome.

For today's look I have decided to pair these two new classic pieces I've got from Ma Shee Closet, a local online shop based in Pampanga, Philippines. I chose a white turtle neck top (Php 450 /$9.66 ) because it's not only a versatile piece but it accentuates my favorite part, my shoulders. I also liked the fabric used because it's not see through yet gives off a breezy feeling when worn. As for the bottoms, I got a dark blue high waist pants (Php 650 /$13.96). These pair are stretchable and comfortable when worn which made it perfect to style for a day to night look. Not only that, it fits perfectly to frame giving an illusion of a sexy figure and longer legs. The look wouldn't be complete without my two favorite staple pieces, the white bag and heels.

My sembreak officially started during our day trip to Mabini, Batangas. We looked for a resort to visit and was mesmerized to see a beautiful Santorini inspired resort along the highway. It was the famous Camp Netanya that I've been seeing from my friends' social media accounts. The resort was under construction when we went there but we were allowed to take a peek and appreciate its beauty. We strolled farther and ended up in Eagle Point Resort. I've been hearing a lot of good reviews from this resort and thought to give it a try.

The resort was far from the main road. We traveled 1 kilometer to reach the parking of the resort. Not only that, we travelled another 300 meters to reach the main resort. Although it was quite a long drive it was all worth it when we reached the place. It was an instant transportation from the busy city to paradise. The resort was incredibly big. We had a tour guide who accompanied us during the whole day tour. The resort offers a lot of accommodation areas based on your preference. They have villa types, huts, cabanas and a hotel. They also have 3 swimming pools, one of which is the reef pool that houses baby sharks. They also offer an island hopping boat tour to Sepoc Island. We spent the entire stay exploring the whole resort and its facilities.

If you want a relaxing and serene place to stay at, I highly recommend you to check this out and have your bookings processed early. Have a great week! :)

As I grow up I've always wanted to grow my hair long and be like the Disney princesses I watch in movies. But apparently, my mom, who used to be fond of my hair, always give me a pixie cut when I was a kid. :( Now that I'm a teen and that I have the control over my hair I realized that my mom was right and that short hair isn't so bad (especially in this crazy, hot weather that we're experiencing all throughout the year.) But of course I'm still not giving up my hair goals. Thank goodness Irresistible Me heard my wish and sent me hair extensions.

The month of September was a month of adventures and galas. One memorable road trip that I've been to last month was our sudden trip in Tagaytay. It was purely unexpected even the company of my classmate, Terry. We were only supposed to go to the mall in our hometown but decided to take a different route instead. We then found ourselves in the beautiful and cold city of Tagaytay.

This is what she calls "friendship goals". To more adventures with my favorite sorellina :)

The whole trip was purely light and fun. We had a lot of stop overs- Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, People's Park in the Sky, Crosswinds Swiss Luxury Resort, Sky Ranch Tagaytay, Ayala Mall Tagaytay and Fantasy World. The next time I go there I have already a list of places to visit and a list of restaurants to try. I can't wait to be back with my cousins. :)
