Lately, I've been thinking of how my blog readers and followers view me as a fashion blogger and influencer through the way I dress up. It includes the type of clothes that I usually wear like the color, cut, style and comfort as well as the footwear that I put on. I thought of making an instagram poll and let my readers decide what clothes for the next batch of orders will I get. Between the usual femme chic (my style) and street style outfits (bomber jackets, crop tops, graphic tees) that I polled I was surprised to see that it's almost a tie! It was because of those 2 votes that femme chic won again. I now know that most of my readers doesn't want me to give up my maxis, pastels and florals (and heels!!). I'll be 6" ft. by then. Haha!  Thank you guys for not getting bored and sick of my style. I love you all! :) On the other hand, almost half of my readers want to see me wear and sport the sneakers, basics, denim, and monochrome outfits. Maybe soon but not this year I'll wear one of it because all my outfits are planned already for my upcoming trips! Haha!
Outfit. Because of the poll that I made I knew for a fact that my readers want to see me channeling more femme chic outfits! I was actually torn between the colors brown and lavender but the reason why I got it in lavender is because it's my first romper in this color. Isn't it just so cute and girly? :) When I saw this pastel dress suit I knew I have to get it for Pau's Oath taking. It looks professional without being boring. I knew this dress made a good impression because people kept on looking at me from head to toe. I assumed they loved it. Haha! What do you think?

xoxo,

Hello everyone! It’s time for me to get back on my usual routine here on the blog and that is by introducing new brands and products that I recently discovered either from a friend or on social media. I’ve always been so particular with the brands I partner because I want to make sure that what I am introducing and sharing with my readers is 100% legit and trusted. It’s been years since I last collaborated with Newchic, a brand that holds a special place in my heart. It is where I got one of my favorite bag if you remember the blog post that I made which is Ain’t Got No Time for Drama. I love statement pieces especially statement bags and I wouldn’t forget the diamond bag that I ordered from them.
As I was browsing Newchic’s website I’ve seen a lot of new and beautiful pieces that they are offering. Aside from that they sell cheap bags online. Being cheap doesn’t always mean giving up the quality of the product. Just like the bag that I got from them 3 years ago, I still use it until now. Yes, it’s still functional!
I have also spotted large crossbody bags that are equally chic to carry around especially if you bring lots of stuffs with you everyday. It’s perfect for students like me who carries a piece or 2 of books and some added school stuffs or a mom who brings baby stuffs such as towels, extra clothes and even milk for her infant.
Aside from that they also offer leather handbags online. I’m a fan of leather bags and I have a growing collection of it. It doesn’t only make everything chic and femme, it also makes one look a professional. Leather bags are perfect for working girls or even moms who wants to share and show off their style.

Lastly, I got caught by the number of cosmetic bags that Newchic offers. I’ve always wanted to purchase one for myself because I love to bring as much cosmetics as my luggage permits when travelling. I have some few cosmetic bags but most of it are small and non functional already. I’ve spotted few of my favorite picks and I am thinking of getting one for myself already.

xoxo,

Finally, finally! I'm blogging my recent postcard like travel photos from the newest attraction here in Batangas. Just last October 18, Paulo and I went to tick off a new attraction from our travel bucket list in celebration of our 2nd Anniversary. It's been a long time since we went on road trips and galas like this one because we both became busy in school (me), work and reviewing for boards (him). When he asked me what I want as a gift for our anniv I told him I don't want to receive any material thing. I just want to spend a day with him in a beautiful place where we can both enjoy the view, relax and just take pictures. This is so far my most favorite among the attractions and trips that we went to. It's not only because the place is really beautiful but because it's the the only time again that I've seen Paulo so happy and carefree after almost a year.
We always see it in Startoll everytime we go to Lipa from Batangas. We only trusted google maps to get here but I think it's pretty simple. If you're from Batangas you'll have to go through the city of San Jose first before you get here. The place is called The Old Grove Farmstead. Farmstead offers a beautiful countryside view with lush greens and rustic style establishments. It is also called The Netherlands of the Philippines because the scenery and views are so dreamy that you would think you booked a flight to Netherlands. There's a big Dutch barn in the middle where events such as wedding receptions and debuts are held. There's also a windmill, a rustic style restaurant, a pool area and of course our favorite spot, the animal farm. Everything is just refreshing to the eyes! Scroll down to see more of our snaps from the place.
A day tour from Monday- Friday costs 500 pesos each and is inclusive of 200 pesos worth of consumable voucher in Harvest Cafe. It's not really expensive though. We ordered Chicken fingers and fries, Beef Burger and fries, Carbonara and Plated chicken and rice meal. We used the voucher here plus we still paid the excess of our order. I find their beef burger and plated chicken meal exceptional. Masarap!
Outfit. Before we went here I've seen a lot of people wearing cowboy and countryside like outfits. I told myself that I want to wear a pink dress and a white hat just to break the colors of the place. Good thing Shein always has that dress I could imagine myself wearing to a particular place or event. When I saw this flounce fold over off shoulder dress in pastel pink from their website I was shookt because I feel like Shein have read what's on my mind! I knew for once that I have to get it and wear in this place! It's just freaking chic and feminine and it's simply what I have imagined wearing here. Thank you Shein for always dressing me up with lovely dresses. They are all simply gorgeous!

Hat from Claire (Haha! Thanks sa gift!)
Our favorite part of the tour was feeding the farm animals!! There were ducks, sheep and a pony! We bought feeds to be able to call the attention of the animals most especially the sheep. It's my first time to see a real one up close and feed ir. I kinda freaked out when I saw a flock coming and running after us! They looked very hungry and they even bit Paulo's shorts when he didn't want to give feeds anymore!! Hahaha! Another memorable thing that happened was that I stepped on a number of poops inside the farm and I don't even know how to get rid each of it while I'm in the middle and being attacked by a flock of hungry sheep! HAHAHA! There was also a cute pony that roams inside the pen. Paulo and I really had a great time that we didn't notice how hot it was during that time. Nangitim kami after haha!
This place will always be memorable to me. Thank you, Pau, for making this possible. Happy Anniversary! :)

xoxo,

I know this is a bit off from my previous outfit and travel posts but I’d love to take this opportunity to share something personal and school related. I had expressed my rants and musings during my previous posts lately telling that I was so worried and stressed about my school requirements (although I still have a few to complete). But recently, last September and this October, I was inspired and uplifted by my cousins’ and boyfriend’s victories. I’ve seen them worked so hard to get to where they are now and I’m inspired to not give up and keep on going. I had countless “what ifs” and breakdowns but I know that my dreams and priorities matter more than anything else. As part of my little achievements I wanted to share with you the 2 surgeries that I had accomplished this year as part of our school requirement.
Perio Surgery. Last July I had my Perio surgery done with Rhada Dinglasan as my partner under Dr. Liberty Rosales. This was actually my second attempt Perio surgery already because the first one which was suppose to happen last May was a big misunderstanding. I’ll not elaborate the story anymore but all I can say is that when this second opportunity knocked, I grabbed and took the chance! Everything happened as if it was a last minute surgery but my team pulled it off! I’m really thankful for my friends who assisted us, Dr. Rosales for guiding us and to our senior for giving us our patient.
Odontectomy. Our Odontec happened just last October 16. It’s the second major surgery that was one of the biggest relief from our clinical requirements. This time I had my college bff, Justine Tan, as my partner under Dr. JP Domingo. I know most of our seniors who are reading this now know the journey and struggles (struggles talaga! Haha!) before a pair could perform Odontec. You have to literally familiarize everything about the patient and of course, the surgery proper. Odontec is one of my most treasured experience and achievement in my college journey. I’ve always wanted to be an OMS someday and performing such simple surgery is already a stepping stone to my lifelong dream. I really appreciate the help of our mentor for directing and being with us. It’s actually a complicated one (mesioangluar position with both roots dilacerated and it required more bone removal than what I had expected) and I know that we will not be able to do everything without him by our side. I also appreciate our friends who lent us some instruments and of course, our assists who helped us during the whole procedure. Shobe and I’s tandem wouldn’t be able to make it without our support system. Thank you so much guys!!!

How are you doing? I hope you get to accomplish your goals for this week!
