Just last December 23 I attended a wedding of my mom’s god daughter. I guess it was the first wedding I attended to this year and the last. I was carried away during the moment when the newly wed made their vows because that same day was the 22nd anniversary of my parents. Apart from that, everything looks perfect from the church down to the reception hall. One thing that kept me in awe during the whole event was the beauty of the bride and the wedding dress she’s wearing. It was simple but classic.

Speaking of wedding dresses I recently discovered a new website which specializes a lot of event dresses and of course, wedding dresses. It’s no other than Simple-dress.com. If you are a soon to be bride who’s already planning of what to wear on your wedding you can get ideas of your ideal cheap wedding dresses from them. They have some categories to choose from like beach wedding dresses, ball gown wedding dresses, lace wedding dresses and so lot more. You can check out their website for more finds. For now here are some of the sample dresses from their site.

Sleek and sophisticated, these describes what Simple-dress wedding dresses are. They also have simple yet captivating pieces and daring but sweet dresses. I'm very particular with intricate details of dresses too and I found some dresses from their site that have it!

These wedding dresses are designed uniquely with different details. Let's say the first dress above: It looks simple but the heart tube top and ball gown form made it looked like a princess dress. On the other hand, the second dress above is simply classy with a little conservative touch yet is sexy for its body fitting style. These two dresses are completely different but both classy and beautiful.

2017 has been a year of ups and downs but I'm pretty sure that it is by far the most memorable and eventful year I had in my 21 years of existence. It's already been a roller coaster ride of experiences and emotions since January 2017 'til now that it's December. This is the year of bountiful blessings, of lessons, of experiences and of taking big leaps and challenges. I could say that 2017 has definitely been my year and I wouldn't trade any of my experiences here for anything else.
  • This year, my self confidence was tested through joining my first ever pageants! It was the pageant for my department which is Ms. Dentistry and school pageant, Ms. LPU. Joining these two pageants and having myself crowned as Ms. Dentistry 2017 has been one of my biggest and proudest achievement that I'll always remember until I become older. I've never had that high self confidence to walk and dance and represent myself in a crowd who will judge me with the way I look. But, I still pushed it through because in spite of all the negative thinking of what could go wrong I focused on the positive thinking of what could possibly go right. Both pageants gave me the feeling of victory although I got no title on the second pageant. Conquering my fear and being the pride of my department and family made me feel a real winner already. Sabi nga nila kulang lang ako minsan sa motivation at pampalakas ng loob but at the end of the day it will always be what my heart says and it is "I'd rather have a life of "oh wells" than a life of "what ifs". :) I don't want to end up with regrets anymore. I'll never know when I do not try so, yes, I'll still go for it! :)
  • This year I've been focused and active in improving my lifestyle. I engaged myself in different activities like driving and yup, I got my driver's license already. I purposely went to the gym to be fit and toned but... I didn't went on a diet so basically, I've gained more weight than lose some pounds this year (Haha huhu, I don't know if I'll be happy or not) I still joined basketball women's in spite of giving up my clinic days. I started reconnecting & meeting old and new friends too who were once strangers turned into close friends and boyfriend (Haha!). I explored new places this year (places in my bucket list) and tried different dishes in artsy cafes to fine dining restaurants. It's like food tasting everyday. Haha! I never forget blogging. Blogging every vacation has been my favorite past time and I'm still accepting sponsorships and product reviews for my favorite brands.
  • The first semester of 3rd year proper had pretty much caused me stress for the past 4 months. There was a big leap from the acads-focused life to acads-clinic life. The hardest part of it? Looking for patients. My patience was tested especially in looking for ideal patients for each clinical requirements that I have to finish at the end of the semester. It's not easy to find patients who are willing to deal with because they could be deceiving at times. Sometimes they'll say "yes" but they will eventually leave you when you have scheduled them already for the procedure. It's disappointing and big a waste of time for every clinician who's trying to catch up with the requirements for the whole semester. I don't know if it's just me but God always do wonders whenever I'm left with no patient. He's really good and He's really helping me by giving me unexpected blessings especially during last minute clinic situations. Thank you Lord for making me survive everyday. First semester: DONE!!!
  • This year I found a love. Yiee hahaha. You all know who I'm talking about! It was one of the biggest risk I made this year. It's taking the risk of introducing a man to my family and taking the risk of trusting my heart to someone. I was afraid and full of doubts at first but at the back of my mind I wanted to follow my heart and do something that would make me happy. I don't want to keep secrets (because I'm not really good at it) and I wanted to do the right thing. I introduced Paulo to my family because I know that he's worth it to be introduced to my family.

  • This year I learned to enjoy, be happy and be contented with whatever I have in my life. Whatever happens, accept it. Whether it may be good or bad, think of it as a blessing and a lesson. Don't let yourself be occupied by fear and hatred. Love your family and spend more time with them. Be thankful for whatever God has given you.
Merry Christmas everyone!!! :)

Kicking The Day Off Right With Doe Deere

Doe Deere is the founder and lead designer of Lime Crime, a cosmetics brand available in most countries around the globe. Earlier this year, Savoir Flair, a digital magazine, got exclusive access to Ms. Deere's morning routine. Although everybody's different, the founder of a makeup company is certain to know several tricks that laymen - more like laywomen - likely don't know about.

Kicking The Day Off Right

Doe reports aiming for nine hours of sleep each night, waking up at 8:30 each morning. Oddly enough, she reports not having to rely on an alarm to wake herself, as her internal clock is quite accurate.

Living in arid Los Angeles, it's important to stay hydrated to boost skin condition. As such, Ms. Deere drinks a full glass of water each morning. Next, she strives to stretch every day - though, like most people, she forgets to some days. Breakfast comes after stretching. She reports enjoying grits - a hot cereal popular in the Southeast United States - fruit, orange juice, and yogurt.

Keeping Track Of Events And Obligations

Like most people in today's world, Doe Deere "[lives] by the calendar on [her] phone."

Lime Crime, her corporate creation, utilizes an internal company chat interface, allowing Doe to keep in touch with the inner workings of her business without risking data security breaches.

Deere likes to keep social media, computers, and other sources of digital information as far away as possible during the morning. However, she keeps up with emails throughout her day, though she aims to knock them out as frequently as possible in the mornings.

She reports listening to The Beatles while applying makeup, and enjoys listening to other classic music throughout each application session.

It's Time For The Products

Glossier face wash is Doe Deere's wash of choice, as it's quite mild, and smells of roses. Murad Hydro-Dynamic Quenching Essence comes next, an effective moisturizer that goes well with any look.

L'Oreal's True Match Foundation and MAC's Studio Fix foundations follow. Even though her company doesn't offer foundation, such a formula is currently in the works.

Doe Deere reports setting her makeup with powder, then moving on to filling in her brows. Contouring cheeks immediately fellows, with lips coming up next. She says applying blush and lipstick are the favorite parts of her daily cosmetics routine, as "color brings [her] face to life."

But How Long Does It Take?

Doe Deere reports getting ready in as little as fifteen minutes, though she might take her time and take up to an hour if important obligations are coming up that day. Ms. Deere likes to shower in the late evening, as she can avoid using hairdryers and prevent spending loads of time on drying hair and related responsibilities. She also waits until the evening to shower because her hair is dryer than as if she recently showered, allowing it to be appropriately styled by the morning.

Animals Can Be Woman's Best Friend

While dogs are the most commonly owned pet in the world, Doe Deere owns two Persian felines, named Chester von Battingham and Puffy Fluffles. She reports enjoying to treat them like kings, though their genders weren't stated in the interview.

She often gets to her office at Lime Crime's facility around midday, eats lunch there, then socializes with her team of executives. Deere strives to be done with work by 6 in the evening, although she reports staying until midnights, at times.

Lime Crime is a cosmetics line based in the United States that's vegan and cruelty-free.

Hey yooo! It's finally Christmas vacation! Another stressful semester done!!! Hayyyy, I can finally relax and enjoy the rest of the month without thinking of my acads and deadlines. By the way, I really missed my blog because I have been MIA for the past weeks and months. I have a lot of new updates to post- ootds, events and diaries here and I'm excited to share all of those with you! Anyway, I don't have any plans of going out today because it's a complete rest day for my foot. I got injured and had one toe dislocated and another one fractured last week. The happening went really quick. I was about to go to Manila to attend Blogger's United last Saturday but while I was getting my shoes I had a stair accident. Instead of going to Manila we went to the emergency room and had it treated immediately. It's a good thing that it was corrected in the least possible time and I feel much better now although I still cannot bend it completely.
Outfit. I realized that I've been ordering lots of jumpsuits and rompers lately (wait for my next ootd posts!!!) It's just that I find it comfortable and modish without putting too much effort in styling it. This jumpsuit from Yoins is one of it. It's comfortable to use- the fabric is soft and absorbs sweat. There are no worries if it's too windy because it's not a dress which might fly up or too hot which may cause you to sweat too much. The prints is a plus for me because I'm the typical girly girl who loves printed pinks and neutrals on my outfit. The only thing that I don't like in wearing jumpsuit is when I have to pee. It's a hassle to remove everything from top to bottom. Haha! Anyway, if you want to see and buy this geometry print jumpsuit, you can check it out here. I got it for $21.95 // Php 1,364.41. :) I also got my floral headband from Yoins for only $5.95 // Php 312.84 :)

Check out Yoins blog for more update of their products! :) See you in my next posts!!! :)

Hey guys! There are only 10 days left before Christmas!!! Have you started buying gifts? Well, I have already started my Christmas gifts shopping for my family and friends early this week but I'm not yet finish with it. Whenever I buy gifts I make sure to give them what they really want because, why not right? It's not everyday or every month that you get to spoil your love ones with what they like. It's Christmas anyway :)

I recently came across a new website while browsing some shops online. It's Sevengrils. What caught my attention was their many categories of clothing to choose from (and it's a plus point that their items are on SALE) I decided to make a wish list (just in case my friends see this. HAHA!!!) and here are some of it from the sweatshirts and hoodies. See photos below and click the descriptions below. It will direct you to the link of the items. :)
White open knit sweater // Distressed Dye Sweater
Heart printed sweater // Cropped Cotton sweatshirt
