Day dreamer and Believer: January 2021

As I look back on how last year have went I feel so blessed and thankful to have survived the world's probably worst year of pandemic. I have my fair share of breakdowns and victories too and I promised that I will do everything to make this year a whole lot better than the previous one. I know 2020 gave me hopeless resolutions but I still wrote mine this year with high hopes that I will be able to make it. Fortunately, 2021 started smooth and fine. Our first project of the year (and my mom's long term dream is finally coming into reality!!!) I'm talking about our beach house. It's currently on its 1st week of construction already but I haven't seen it yet on the actual site. This beach house is actually a dream come true. It's not really grand- just a small and simple one but what I'm proud of is that it's the fruit of my mom and I's hardwork. I'm no longer going in to details as to how the design of the house looks like but I will for sure give you a glimpse of it once it's fully done.

With all the house construction that's happening the pinterest girl in me is so happy! I've been saving house interior ideas almost every week and what I'm so hooked up is the idea of placing accent walls and aesthetic spots in our future house. I came across @photowall_sweden on instagram and found myself scrolling non stop for ideas. Lo & behold, I found the perfect shop! Photowall is a Swedish company brand that specializes on wall art designs such as murals, wallpapers, paintings and canvas. They have the most beautiful designs and I felt the need to start investing and start it from their shop.

I wasn't able to decide at first what I should get from the shop because I have added to cart around 7-9 canvas designs. As I was browsing through the designs that I picked this world map in blue watercolor gave me the idea that it will be the best choice of design to put in our house. I'm so excited to unbox it when it arrived. It took a week or less to arrive and it still amazes me because it came all the way from Europe! They prepared it as early as I placed my order from their site. I didn't expect it to be really big in person too! Ang gandaa! Super nakakatuwa from the moment Pau and I unboxed it up until we assembled it. It gives me the daily dose of motivation to study and work harder to save and travel again when it's already safe and exciting. It makes me realize how big the world is, how opportunities are endless and how beautiful this world can be.

Hey everyone! We're on the next chapter of our lives. Another year, another season, and another time to make the most out of what we have! How are you all doing? Well me, I'm doing just fine- still busy or I mean busier this 2021. But I'm happy with everything that's going on in my life and every single day makes me feel that I am productive after I recapped on how my day went. For today's blog, I want to share with you few of the warmers that caught my attention online. I came across it on a fashion online store, Newchic, and it led me to more interesting clothes that are very much in season right now!

This is what I'm talking about!! It's my first time to see blanket hoodies online and it got my interest. With the weather getting colder everyday I consider this hoodie the perfect bff to wrap yourself and cuddle for a hundred percent comfort on a lazy day. I can imagine myself wearing this while sipping a hot espresso while watching my favorite series, Bridgerton, on netflix!

This long coat for men reminds me so much of a rich korean drama actor! I've seen a lot of kdramas lately and this one gives me that vibe. Whether you'll wear it in a casual day or as a business attire, you'll for sure never go wrong with this overcoat!

Their selection of teddy hoodies makes me feel like every man who'll wear it can pull it off! Let's take this one for example. I love the chill and comfortable vibe this hoodie brings. It's not only stylish but also versatile to wear. Whether you'd like it to be formal or street style, you can be both!

This men's long cardigan is the definition of a smart casual stylish look. I find some smart casual outfits boring but this one is an exception. I simply like the color of it and the little details that it has. Look at that welt pockets! It's not only flattering to look at but also useful as small storages.

I've been so addicted with silk sleepwears that when I saw this men's cheap silk pajamas I instantly fell in love with it. Well, not for me but for my brothers! Silk pajamas are the best thing to wear! They gave me the best comfort during my whole sleeping time- easy to make movements and breezy! I love the prints of this one too!

Happy New Year everyone! It's time for a new start and new breakthroughs! I'm really glad I'll be sharing with you another fruitful year here on my blog and I can't wait to share more of what's to come- the victories, successes and breakthroughs that I'm already claiming this year. To give you all a fresh start I'm happy to announce that 2 of my cousins are getting married this year! Last year was all about marriages already and I can sense that this year will be pouring more in our family. I'm already excited for my cousins' weddings and other cousins' planned engagements from my mother side. Speaking of engagements, one of the things that excite me the most are the rings that the couple receive from each other. I'm so into jewelries lately- preferably necklaces- but when I saw these rings online I can't help but save and buy one for myself even if I'm not getting engaged yet! Haha! These rings are just too nice to resist and I'm sure that this is a good investment to give yourself and of course, to your partner to start this year. Let me show you some of the beautiful ring collections that I personally picked here for the blog.

One of the rings that first caught me is this white gold alexandrite engagement ring. This is actually a 3pcs set of rings that you can wear separately. I instantly fell in love with it because first- it's a rose gold and second- I loved the design of the main ring. It has an infinity design embedded with gemstones. This ring is perfect for young couples who are getting engaged and soon to enter the married life.

Another ring that I loved from Alexandrite collection is this pear garnet ring. It's perfect as an engagement ring too but I'd probably buy this for myself. The color of the gemstone caught me! I also love the vintage vibes that this ring gives.

Here's the ring of my choice from emerald and diamond ring. I love the simplicity of this one yet you can clearly see how beautiful the details are from the diamonds that surrounds it up to the sunflower designed center that it has. I'd probably give this ring to my mom because it reminds me so much of her.

Lastly, here's my ring of choice from moonstone engagement ring. I've been hooked up in this section because the rings are just so nice and affordable. I think they have the most affordable set of rings and the classiest too! I love the design of this one- just a simple heart shaped rainbow moonstone yet looks the most elegant of them all.
