Day dreamer and Believer

October 11, 2014 surely marked the best day of my life so far. I once had a dream of becoming a princess, a real princess, and for that one night I felt like I truly am with this magical celebration.

To tell you honestly I was quite nervous because it was raining hard all throughout the day. I call and text my friends from time to time to check or ask them if they were already in the venue. I quite freaked out because I was thinking that maybe my guests won't be able to come due to bad weather. But then, when I arrived at the venue and had my grand entrance I was surprised to see that almost all my invited guests were able to come. Yey! It already made me so happy!

Just to share with you, the first time I went to this venue I already fell in love with the place. I think I was 7 or 8 back then. The ceiling, the lights, this garden reminds me so much of gods and goddesses, fairies and princesses. I told myself that I will not celebrate my 18th birthday if it wouldn't be held in this place! Haha! Sounds rude but this is how much I love it. Chez Amis didn't disappoint me though! They made my night truly a magical and unforgettable one.

The program started with an opening prayer followed by my mom's welcoming remarks and finally, my grand entrance :)

It was followed by my 18 Roses. I chose the 18 closest guys to me which includes my friends and relatives. Someone's late though! :( Haha. Just kidding!

18 Treasures...

then the 18 Symbolic Gifts. It consists of my 18 closest High School and College friends. It was nice seeing them all in pastel and candy colored outfits. :)

After dinner I changed into my cocktail dress and had my look changed. I had my second entrance and this time danced a production number with Batangas Fusion Dancers. I never thought that I would dance something like this in public! Hahaha :)

My production number didn't end there! I was introduced by the emcee as a singer back then and I was asked to have a song number on the spot. Good thing I didn't got nervous. I started to sing my mom's favorite song, "Grow Old with You", went down the stage and found myself approaching her near the table where she was sitting. This was my favorite part and I became a little emotional during that moment.

My college friends also sang during that night. Nakarequest din naman! Haha :) They never failed me and I will always be their fan.

18 Blogger Finds followed. It consists of my High School and College best friends as well as my girl cousins.

The last but definitely not the least 18 list was the 18 Candles and Wishes which include my titas and lolas.

And again, I want to acknowledge the presence of my friends and family who came to this wonderful and magical event of mine.

This event is definitely my favorite among all the days I had in my 18 years of existence. Thank you to everyone who came and contributed to make this event a truly memorable one. I love you! :)

And it's official! I'm 18 and LEGAL!

I just experienced last night the best birthday celebration I ever had so far. I would like to thank everyone behind the celebration and it really made me happy to see all the important persons in my life, gathered in one place and singing a happy birthday to me. :) Nakakatouch.

But before I go into details of my 18th Birthday I just want to share first this mini-photo shoot I had a few weeks ago. I was really busy the past few weeks, I mean the whole semester!!! because of all the requirements I have to finish and submit. Thank God I'm officially on Sembreak (yay! confetti please!) and I can start blogging again. Stress-free finally!

Hi guys! We have no classes again today (due to bad weather) that's why I was able to squeeze a new post! I've been so busy lately that I didn't realized I've been absent in blogging for a month already. I swear I'm so busy these past months and for sure the upcoming months as well because of all the requirements I have to submit and comply with in school. Woohhhh. I want you to know the reason behind my absence that's why I'm giving you a sneak peak of my life as a student--dentist. Get ready to see some of the pictures I've documented of me and my co-studentists!

As captioned, here's our first ever selfies as SOPHOMORES!!! We'll be in our Dental proper year next year and we can't wait for it.

Darrel's Birthday! :D Our group became bigger this semester. From 8 members to 11. Insert the youngest here, Ka Ruben. Haha :)

Cameras shouldn't be allowed while studying because every time I try to focus we would always end up with this.

Class Suspension! :D During the outbreak of Typhoon Glenda there were days when our school doesn't announce the suspension of classes the day before so we end up going to school. That's when we become "water proof students". Anyway, during those times that we don't feel like going home early we hang-out and go to the mall to spend some quality time together. Haha :)

Group Study turned...

Botany Food Festival We had a food fest last month in our Botany class wherein we were instructed to cook whatever menu we want as long as it is related to our chosen category. We picked the category stems and came up cooking beef broccoli, onion rings and fried cauliflowers! :) Our chef was the best. Haha.

First Oral Check-up And for the first time we had our very first oral check-up in a clinic. :D If you could only see my face before the oral check-up, I was so excited! Hahaha. At first I had a hard time looking for a patient because there are certain requirements. I asked almost all my friends and relatives if they were free during that day/time and unfortunately they weren't. I asked my friend's help if she could help me find a patient. Good thing she has sources and she gave me one!!! Behold, I have mine now! Hahahaha. I really had a blast and fun experience during my first oral check-up because of the patient I had! He is the loudest and funniest guy I ever met in my whole life! This experience is one for the books!

We're finally complete!!! :) The friends I will forever treasure.

Pistakasan 2014 x Dentistry Accreditation During the first and second day of PISTAKASAN (Sport's Fest) in our school our department had our accreditation. We had classes in the morning but during the afternoon we skipped classes just to watch and cheer for our department!!! Go Dent Canines! Hahaha! We were still able to enjoy and have fun the whole week even though we were the only ones wearing our white uniforms!

Tuklas Tinig Another class interruption! :D We supported the pride of our department, Kuya and BR in a singing contest.

*I just can't wait to end this semester in just 3 weeks! Ahhh! I'm excited! :D

Inspite the busy week I've been through and I'll go through, I'm here squeezing another blog post. Haha. Forgive me if I don't update my blog daily nor weekly because I was really fed up by all the school stuffs the past weeks. Next week and the succeeding weeks will be busier for me not only because of all the school works, reports, midterms etc. but because we're planning something really exciting. I'll share it to you if it's all set and final already! :)

Here's my casual Wednesday outfit last week. I took all these shots after school so you know now why I looked like I haven't combed my hair here. Haha. This is my day-to-day natural look in school. No make-ups. I haven't tried wearing any make-up (except for powder of course) in school. When I turn 18, I'll promise to try and put some. Haha. Take note of that!
